PRS Permacel maintains an Environmental Management System that demonstrates its commitment to prevention of pollution, thus promoting a clean and healthy environment. 

The PRS Permacel manufacturing plant at Mumbai has received ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system - the first company in India in the field of pressure sensitive labels and tapes to achieve this recognition.

ISO 14001, presented by the Anglo Japanese American Environment Quality and Safety Registrars (AJAEQS) of U.K., helps organisations to meet their environmental responsibilities through an international set of standards. A major focus of ISO 14001 is providing a process for organisations to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental legislations and regulations of the Government. 

Safety is a core value for PRS Permacel. At its manufacturing plant and all locations across the country, PRS Permacel has continuously emphasised the importance of safe working practices and reinforced it with constant training. 

These steps and concerns have earned PRS Permacel several National and State Government Safety Awards including the coveted National Safety Award instituted by the National Safety Council of India. PRS Permacel has achieved these Safety Awards for criteria like 'Lowest Accident Frequency Rate' and 'Longest Accident Free Period'.
